Ceramic fitting that are great from making G4 lighting.I have used these to replace the original G4 fitting on a glass ball lighting unit that we have in the hall. One of the G4 lamps would flash when someone walked over it on the floor above. The lighting unit has 7x G4 glass balls which I converted to LED a few years ago. Over the period of time, mainly from removing the glass balls to clean them, the original G4 lamp fitting which were made of plastic cracked and started to break. These ceramic fitting are 100 times better than the original plastic fitting. The ceramic will not degrade with the heat of the lamps and will withstand the removal of the glass balls for cleaning. I needed to carefully drill the plastic one out. Then I used a epoxy resin to bond this ceramic units in place.G4 LED bulbs fit tightly in these fittings, so no more flickering lights when someone walks over the landing.A very good quality fitting.

Die Kabel sind sehr steif und die Isolierung brennt wenn man ein Feuerzeug dran hält, ist also wohl eher kein Silikon.Sonst ganz ok, Halter schmelzen nicht, sind also wohl aus Keramik und kein Kunststoff, die G4 Lämpchen halten gut.Die beiliegenden Klemmen sind auch ok für den Einsatz und halten auch die dünneren Kabel.Um die Sockel irgendwo einzubauen braucht man 7,5mm Löcher. Verdrehungssicher mit zwei Flanken auf 6mm.Anbei noch ein paar Bilder mit Maßen.

Diese Sockel sind perfekte Hilfsmittel um Steckbirnchen an die eigene Schaltung anzuschließen.Man vermeidet die Gefahr der Zerstörung durch das Anlöten, denn die Hitze überträgt sich durch das Metall auf den Chip. Die Möglichkeit einer Steckverbindung ist sehr willkommen.

I selected these as they claimed to be 20cm long in the description, and standard ones I have with a 14cm tail are a little too short, making changing bulbs very tricky. As you will see from the photo these have an actual tail length of about 8cm. The wire is also much thinner than I expected. Cannot recommend.
