My dad loves this. He never really wears hats but complained his head was getting cold in the winter because he is bald, so I thought I’d try getting him one of these as he found beanie hats really itchy and uncomfortable.He wears t everywhere. It has 2 little poppers on the back so you can adjust it to the size you need. It is apparently very comfortable to wear - he’d never thought about a flat cap before as he thought they’d be uncomfortable or scratchy. The material is a bit like corduroy and is nice and soft. It rolls up nicely to fit in his coat pocket when he isn’t wearing it. Keeps the wind off of his head and is warm but not too warm like a normal hat, apparently. It also doesn’t make him look like an old man. I got the navy blue one and it looks fashionable. I think the traditional checkered ones would have aged him but this one doesn’t do that at all. It sort of dresses up whatever he’s wearing and makes him look smart. It also doesn’t give him hat hair. In my whole life I’ve not seen him wear a hat for more than a few minutes, so his love of it really is high praise and now I kind of know him by it. It’s not uncomfortable to wear with glasses either (some hats are tight and press the arms of the glasses into you a bit). Was a big hit, looks good, and he’d really recommend.
