I received a waterproof dog blanket. This is a nice item to have when your dog is wet, and you wish to protect the area where your dog is sitting or laying. The blanket is quite large, measuring about 30 X 70 inches, and seems large enough to cover a couch or a seat in your vehicle. The blanket seems well made and has a nice looking colour print one side, and is grey on the opposite side. I noticed there is another color scheme available, as well as 2 larger sizes. It has almost no padding, and there is waterproof material was sewn between the 2 fabric sides as well as a waterproofing treatment on both sides of the blanket. I tested the blanket by pouring a cup of water on top of the blanket, and noticed that it seemed to bead on the top surface of the blanket. I also looked for water penetration on the other side, waiting about 20 minutes, and didn’t see any, indicating the blanket could block water from wetting the objects beneath it. The only issue might be that since the water beads on the blanket surface, you might have to be somewhat careful that it doesn’t run along its surface and run off the edges of the blanket. Overall, a nice waterproof blanket that lives up to its description.

The blanket is actually a whole lot lighter in weight than I was expecting. The dimensions are accurate to within an inch so it's quite long and thin, and both sides bead water brilliantly straight out of the packaging. The patterned side does absorb a little moisture though, so if you have a puddle sitting on it for hours I'm sure a tiny bit will still get through. So I wouldn't quite call it 100% waterproof, maybe 95%. Super easy to carry around though because it's so light and easy to fold. Could definitely be used as a blanket for the back seat too, although it obviously wouldn't cover the backrests. Durability is a little mediocre though because the materials don't exactly feel heavy duty (even a bit papery to the touch), but at least you can still iron it on medium to make it look presentable when guests come over. As far as I can tell, the pattern and colours are identical to the pics. Four stars!
