This is the correct battery for my car, both in terms of its physical dimensions and its electrical spec. It's a good battery and a perfect fit for the bracket that holds it securely in place. However I had to return a previous battery that was wrongly identified as being suitable for my VW Passat by the Amazon 'garage' system which is intended to make sure you only buy compatible parts. This was a big headache and involved several lengthy phone calls to Amazon support before they accepted responsibility for the error and agreed to cover the return costs - which are not cheap given how much a typical battery weighs. This is important because it was NOT the seller's fault - they are well aware of the inaccuracies of the Amazon recommendations.This is really serious because had someone less mechanically minded trusted the Amazon system they would have installed a battery that was too small to be securely held by the bracket with all manner of dangerous consequences. Bottom line is check both the electrical and physical dimensions of the battery youre replacing before purchasing and don't trust the Amazon garage system with the important stuff!
