De Mini Cat.5 grafische verlenging VE066 vergroot de overdrachtsafstand tussen uw DVI-scherm en de DVI-beeldsignaalbron tot 20 m via een conventionele kat. 5e of kat. 6 netwerkkabels. Zo bespaar je de moeite om zwaardere en duurdere DVI-kabels te moeten leggen.
Dankzij de hot-plugging-functionaliteit kun je nog meer VE066-zendereenheden op de signaalbron of andere VE066-ontvangstenheden op het scherm aansluiten, zonder de apparaten uit te schakelen.
Het apparaat is compatibel met ATEN DVI-switches en DVI-splitters, en is een compacte, praktische en voordelige oplossing voor het vergroten van de transmissieroute van DVI-signalen.

Make sure you use high quality, well shielded, CAT6 cable. I got very limited length when using the CAT5/5E cables in my office.

Hat mit meinem Bildschirm mit 1680*1050 Auflösung nicht funktioniert.Selbst mit einem 2m Kabel nicht.Mit einem anderen Bildschirm (nicht meiner) mit einer Full HD Auflösung, hat der Adapter bis 10m funktioniert.Mit 15m kam kein Bild mehr.Es wurden hochwerte, geschirmte, CAT6e und auch a Kabel getestet.

Unfortunately it did not work for me at all over a 20' span. The signal was so degraded that the picture was a 2 out of 10. I don't If I had a faulty unit (going to try and return it) or whether it simply doesn't work. I am currently running a component signal and RCA audio 150' with a competitor's balun and it works perfectly. Theoretically the digital signal should make 20' far better than the component at 150'. Oh well. I was not willing to risk waiting for my theater room to be down for any more time so I ran a true HDMI and bypassed the cat5.

サーバー屋にはKVMスイッチでなじみのあるATEN製、さすがに専門屋の商品ですので全く異常なく使用できます。ノイズや解像度認識不具合などもなく、安定しています。惜しむらくは、多少高いこと。まぁ硬くて太い高価なディスプレイケーブルを長々と引き回すことを考えると、コスパはとても良いのですけれど。
