I am definitely not in any "pro bakers" league, but I bake there and then.When I follow Italian cakes recipes and I try to do without Pane Degli Angeli, using baking powders or mixtures of baking soda and other ingredients, the end product just doesn't become as fluffy and fragrant as they would with it. Also, each sachet is the right size for virtually all recipes I've been following.If your book says to use this yeast, then definitely follow the recommendation!

I used this for years in Europe. The baking powder flavour is much reduced compared to conventional brands available in supermarkets.
