Il suono è pessimo, metallico e pieno di rumori/interferenze. La sua utilità sta solo nel collegare lo strumento ad un accordatore. Se invece dovete amplificare per suonare dal vivo consiglio (io mi sono trovato benissimo) quelli a pinza che si inseriscono nella buca del mandolino (ma anche chitarra o violino)
