Cokin P series filter is better than the screw-in filter as you can use the same filter with lenses that have different diameters.This filter is for Cokin P-series. So for the newbies, you need to have an filter adapter for your lens, and a filter hood to hold this filter in-front of your lens.

Ich verwende das Cokin-System fast nur für Grauverlaufsfilter. Zusätzlich habe ich noch einen Zirkular-Polarfilter. Alles wird an einer Canon 5D betrieben mit diversen Objektiven funktioniert es seht gut. Es geht nicht unter 24mm Brennweite ohne Vignettierungen - Ausnahme das 24mm TSE funktioniert seht gut - solange das Objektiv in der Grundstellung ist.Neben den Cokin Filtern wird ein Filteradapter(aufnehmer) und ein Adapterring für jede zu verwendende Objetivgröße benötigt.

This filter fits the Cokin P series holder just fine. I have read complaints that said it was difficult to fit in the holder and turn but I have not found this to be the case. It does fit slightly snug in the holder but that is to be expected. Something has to hold the filter steady. As for spinning the filter to achieve the desired polarization, it is easy enough. No problems at all. There are other filter brands for less than half the price of this one that are made to fit the Cokin P series mount but I cannot speak for those. This seems like a quality filter that does what is was made to do.
