Don't buy a size larger, common for many Amazon products from China, as this coat is spot on for size, so if you are 3X then buy 3X. The design is great, several people commented on my nice fitting jacket. The hood is unobtrusive although a little large which I had to get a seamstress to take in (unless you have athro then it's an ideal size.)That's where the praise stops I'm afraid. Great visual designs are not always matched with quality or price. In this case, the material is extremely thin. Certainly waterproof as I have tested, but no airing so that when you are walking, you get wet inside the jacket. I caught myself a couple of times on some furniture which resulted in tears. The fabric tears as easily as a sheet of paper. The side pockets and the breast pocket all came apart, even after I had to stitch it by hand, they still tore apart easily soon after.The other thing is that the zips are also very unforgiving. They will switch sides so you need to pull the zip down and not up, and then the sip operates in the opposite direction. Eventually with a slight tug, the zip will fail. All three zips are no longer working on my jacket.In summary, I have had this jacket just over a month, worn it perhaps for a week, and now all zips do not work, all pockets have become unstitched inside, and there are two irripairable tears. It will go in the bis as soon as I can replace it with a better quality product.
