Hasegawa PT27 1/48 Mitsubishi F-2A, meerkleurig

These models arrived, shipped all the way from Japan, in an empty cardboard box getting banged around the whole way over here. Compression crumple damage and shear or rubbing damage across the front of the cardboard. Does Hasegawa know how careful and precise modellers must be to build their kits to a quality standard? Do they know how many tiny steps it takes to complete it? I expected one thing, one tiny step. Just put some good packing materials inside the box and this would have never happened. The box is a part of the value and resale value of this product! Toys in general but certainly models like this.Hasegawa, one of the best scale model makers in the world. Take care of your precious cargo, please. Whether you're shipping these or someone else is doing it for you. I'll even keep the models if they can just FASTIDIOUSLY send me two empty boxes of this Mitsubishi 1:48 F-2A model I won't have to return them at all.

While not a mainstream aircraft it is a nice addition to my collection. In its unique sea blue camo it looks great next to my F-16s. The kit itself is pretty simple to build and if you've ever built any of Hasegawa's F-16s then there is nothing new here. I do find Hasegawa kits to be a bit lacking detail wise but there are enough aftermarket items out there to improve as you want. Overall it is good, easy to build kit and worth a look if you want something a bit different.
