Ich nutze das Ding in einem recht merkwürdigen Setup für eine Westerngitarre und was soll ich sagen, es bringt meinen Sound ein ganzes Stück nach vorn. Ich hatte schon einige Pedals probiert, aber das macht macht das Kraut fett. Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich nichts sagen, aber der Sound überzeugt mich.

Muy buen clon del klon. Pedal correcto. Con gran volumen. Cumple muy bien su función y calidad precio merece mucho la pena.

I had the privilege last year to play a KTR version of the Klon pedal and knew right away I wanted a Klon style pedal on my board. I went for this as it's a relatively straight clone of the germanium based circuit of the original and, as it won't get used all that often, I wasn't prepared to pay £150+ for another brand. Especially as most will have modifications that I don't want.What can I say? Klon gain harmonics, sound and feel for £40! It cleans up like the KTR, it sounds and behaves like the KTR and the controls interact like the KTR. Stacks with other gain pedals really well too. My Vox AC30 loves it.Down points.... It's quite noisy even at lower gains. The controls have a narrower operating range than the KTR. And at £40 you can just feel the footswitch is very budget.But at £40, does any of this matter? Nope. I played live with it and the noise floor wasn't particularly intrusive. My noise gate sorted that anyway.If you want to try a Klon circuit but are uncertain or don't want to risk the cash, this is the one to go for. It uses enough of the topology of the original to give you a really close experience of the circuit. I have to find reasons NOT to use it and unless I gig it more than I am right now, I doubt I will be replacing it with a higher end one just to solve the noise floor. Nothing turning the guitar volume down between songs doesn't solve.
