This little pickup has a lot to offer. It fills the gaps that a standard single coil doesn't cover, making the sound more adaptable to a wider range of playing styles. The sound quality is significantly enhanced, offering a fuller, smoother tone. However, it is a quieter pickup, so you may need to adjust the tone and increase the volume to achieve the desired punch—a common trait of Humbuckers. The difference is especially noticeable between the bridge and neck pickups. Personally, I would prefer this humbucker in the neck position due to its quieter nature, as it would likely blend more seamlessly.

No complaints with this pick up I've had one in my partscaster for years and it has been great. I put together another tele with a babicz fch bridge and the pup does not fit. I stupidly forced it and I think I damaged the windings so just beware if you are thinking of going down that route.

Great idea for a pickup - it meant I could get humbucker tones without having to start sawing up my guitar. It turned a humble Mexican Fender Telecaster from a good twanging machine to an out-and-out purveyor of rock fabulousness. I also installed a push-pull switch to allow coil tapping to get some "truer" single coil sounds out of it. Be aware they are not the exactly the same as a genuine single-coil pick-up, but it does add an extra bit of versatility. It was fairly easy to install and solder this all myself, but do go to a proper guitar tech if you not entirely confiedent about you DIY skills. Many thanks.
