Hi ya all,I am owning a very old Zenker backing form, a little bigger than this. I had it over 15 years.So when I seen this one I just had to get it, to replace my older one. Not saying I am going to trow it out, but will use the newer one during the weekly backing.This product is.* Heavy enough material for baking.* Has grooves and wavered type design inside for easy release of the backed goods.* Love the new handle to open the spring release* Is versatile with the two bottoms.So far I have never regretted buying Zenker.A few tips to use this.Always grease the bottom and sides before inserting the dough.Sometimes when baking with fruit, I insert baking paper.After baking, let the cake cool for a little while before removing the rim.Only use plastic utensils to loosed the rim if you have to. I like to use bamboo or wooden skewers.WASH ONLY by hand! I always let it soak in the sink and use a plastic brush on it.Like I was saying my old one is at least 15 years of age, but if this one lasts me 2 to 3 years I think it will have paid for it self. Here is to an other 15 years :)
